This software system is run by Meantime IT Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this system. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • View the system with no contrast or colour issues, compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA, and in most cases AAA.
  • Zoom in using your browser zoom feature
  • Navigate the system using just a keyboard
  • Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
  • We've also made the website text as simple as possible to understand, including explaining acronyms and providing detailed on-screen guidance.
  • Tooltips with hover information either have an ARIA alternative, or are accessible via the keyboard context menu key.
  • The HTML5 modal element has been used for content layers.

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • It's not always possible to change the device orientation from horizontal to vertical without making it more difficult to view the content and dual scrollbars appearing.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to 'the non-compliances and exemptions' listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

  • Some adjacent links point to the same location. This is because we use the same email address for multiple purposes, and in this case legislatively required purposes. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context)

Disproportionate burden

  • It's not always possible to change the device orientation from horizontal to vertical without making it more difficult to view the content and dual scrollbars appearing.

What we're doing to improve accessibility

Our accessibility roadmap has identified potential improvements that we intend to make.

  • We will continue to monitor and review feedback and legislation, as well as technological advancements, to guide our future accessibility development improvements.
  • All new features will be created with an 'Accessibility first' principle, building on the lessons we have learned.

The list above is not necessarily exhaustive, and we would always look to incorporate feedback given to us by users or interested 3rd parties, where applicable.
